Bone Factor Tour
The Bone Factor Tour gave schools the chance to win a visit from TV dance judge Craig Revel Horwood and guests.
The competition is now closed for 2010 but watch this space for more exciting dance competitions in 2010.
What is the Bone Factor Tour?
The Bone Factor Tour was the result of our national dance competition for schools. Primary School children submitted a video or photographs of a choreographed dance which helped them to build stronger bones. Six winning schools have been selected from the entries to take part in the Bone Factor Tour:
- Eastburn Junior & Infant School, West Yorkshire
- Llanfair Primary School, Vale of Glamorgan, Wales
- Maryland Primary, Stratford and St. Clement Danes Primary School, London
- St Louis Middle School, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
- Earlston Primary School, Borders, Scotland

A visit from the Bone Factor Tour includes:
- A Boogie For Your Bones interactive dance session from Craig Revel Horwood and a chance for the class to perform their winning dance for him.
- A lively and engaging healthy-eating activity to teach children about the importance of maintaining a healthy, calcium-rich diet.
Schools will be notified as to whether they have won a place on the Bone Factor Tour during the w/c 5th October 2009 - we will endeavour to let you know as soon as possible as to whether your entry has been successful, in order to give you maximum time to prepare for your Bone Factor Tour visit.
The Bone Factor Tour will take place around World Osteoporosis Day Tuesday 20th October 2009.
Exact dates will be confirmed once winning schools are selected.
No alternative dates or prizes are available.
If, due to unforeseen circumstances, Craig Revel Horwood is unable to attend the tour, another well known dancing personality will take his place.
